Simone's great Grandma

Simone is hand-piecing a quilt from her great-grandmother's old doyleys and table cloths.

She is using the English cardboard template method of piecing. This is working really well - the linens cannot move, so there is no difficulty with grains etc.

What a great way to use some soiled or damaged embroideries.... Thanks for sharing with us Simone.
