Annette's applique sampler

This is Annette pictured with her completed applique sampler!! In a class with Carol, Annette learned about 10 different types of hand applique and put them all into practise.
The centre block is made using her favourite method (blanket-stitch at the moment), with some dimensional flowers.
I love the red and white fabrics from Chelsea Manor.

Heather's flowers

After undertaking Carol's Applique Sampler class, Heather had the confidence to try this project from a magazine. Heather used fabrics from Mezzanines, Cherish Nature and Farmer's Market to give these appliques real bling.
