Judy's allover quilt

Judy is an online customer - she lives in Tasmania. So, how did we see this quilt??? She made it for Marion's "big 0" birthday last year, but Marion was too shy to be in the photo!!

Marion loves poppies. The fabric is printed in a light wash, so all it needed was allover quilting to make it really special!

Marion hangs it on the wall.

A different Wendy

Wendy is a popular name amongst quilters. We have already mentioned 3 Wendy's on this blog, but they are all different!!! This is another Wendy's funky monkey - and he looks fabulous!!!

I love his big smile and the little hairs on top of his head!

Rhonda finished this block today and didn't bring the others with her - you will have to wait to see the rest!

Christine's quilt is vibrant blue - she started it a few years ago and is finishing it in the beginner's quilt class (with the same teacher, different venue!!)

Catheryn has chosen very soft fabrics, I want to whisper when I am near it - can't talk too loudly!!

Belinda's hungry caterpillar

Here it is!! Belinda's Very Hungry Caterpillar quilt. Belinda was lucky enough to snaffle the food panel when it was in Australia (we are still waiting!! When will it be in stock again?)

Mamma Mia!

No, not really Mamma Mia... but it's Kyla and her monkey Mia.

Kyla picked the fabrics for her Mum to make this cute funky monkey!! The body is made from a print in the range My Folklore.

Amanda's crawly roll quilt

WOW!! Amanda loves brights! She is having a lot of fun with jelly rolls. Amanda bought this moda jelly roll, was it Flutterby???? Anyway, it has the cutest insects on it!

It wasn't a jelly roll, it was a crawlyroll!

Doesn't this quilt top look fantastic? Amanda is now undertaking a beginner's class, to expand her quilting expertise. Gee, doesn't it make you wish you got into quilting earlier???

Amanda needs to learn how to machine quilt soon!!!

I love to see them because everyone's colours are so different that it changes the way a block looks.

It's great to watch our students grow in confidence - they've had 3 classes now.
