Christmas cards

Jenny brought in her Christmas cards to show us. Well, she says they are not quite finished and need to be mounted onto cardboard.

How groovy are these? Little bits of wadding behind the baubles add dimension.

You can make your own cards using this Holiday Flourish print.
Thanks for sharing your show and tell with us Jenny! How many will we have time to make??

Mmm... delicious! New Kaffe Fasset prints!!

I just can't resist! We now have 26 bolts in stock with more arriving each month.

What will you make with your Kaffe Fasset collection? Not sure?

Let me make an announcement!!

We will be starting a mystery Block Of The Month incorporating both applique and piecing in June 2011, with Kaffe Fasset fabrics as the inspiration.

Collect your Kaffe fabric as you make your quilt!! (It won't hurt to have any spares if you already have a collection!).

Would you like to join us? Please contact us via our website (click on the contact us button) or phone the number at the top of the screen or visit us in person to register your interest in our Kaffe Fasset Mystery Quilt.

Until the sample is complete (No, it's a secret, you can't see it yet!) we can't be sure of the price.

New bag kit

We've just made a new kit for the Black Forest bag.

This is one of our favourite bag patterns. It's just the right size, and can be made quickly (Lorraine made this in 3 hours).

Look at the buttons! (It's birds in a tree)... Ahhhh. Can you hear us swoon?

Go Alex!

Wow Alex! Look at you go! We recently ran a class on scalloped edges here at the Quilter's Bazaar.
This is the table centre Alex made using fabrics from her stash (yes, I have some of those Robyn Pandolph fabrics too... circa 2000 I think). She has even fussy-cut the centre. Whoops! We've taken the photo upside down!

But wait, there's more!

Alex started to make this table runner in our Quilt-As-You-Go table runner class.

Beautiful colours Alex. Thanks for sharing with us.
