..because these new fabrics are so blendable they will go with anything!!
These are the 2010 Christmas fabric collection "Tidings" by Nancy Halvorsen (for Art To Heart).Every year Nancy releases her own range of fabric...
then she publishes a book chock full of Christmas patterns made with her fabrics!!While the book is still to be released, we are drooling over the richness of these prints and dreaming of how many things we want to make from the Art To Heart books she has already released.
36 new bolts of delicious non-fattening fabric... I am going to start getting ready for Christmas now!!

Which one are you?
Every time I look at these ladies from Lorelei's latest panel (sewing ladies) I ask "which of these ladies looks like you?'Dorothy has pieced this quilt top together by adding borders around each of the ladies.
It is a striking and colourful quilt. Congratulations Dorothy!

More mini quilts!
Each group (night group and day group) have both attended 2 Mini quilt classes now. We are building our skills in consecutive months. As you can see, some people have chosen a more co-ordinated look than others.
Each quilt top measures 16 inches x 20 inches at the moment.

Mini Quilts show and tell
We've been having such fun making some of Lori Smith's little quilts from the pattern series "Fat Quarter Quilting".
Here are a few pieces of show and tell. These finished quilt tops measure only 16 inches x 20 inches.

12 FAT QUARTER SHOW AND TELL
I love show and tell from classes. Andrea taught Lorna's fat quarter quilt class today. All participants had so much fun!!
Would you believe 3 of 6 participants were making their quilts from the Rural Jardin fabric range? They all look so different. I have made my blocks, I just need to piece them together!!
Everyone pieced all 12 blocks and joined them together.
I was able to snap photos of Susan and Sue's quilt tops as they stayed behind to add the borders and even started to piece the quilt backs!
Thanks to everyone who visited us at Melton Willows quilt exhibition this weekend!
