Go Alex!

Wow Alex! Look at you go! We recently ran a class on scalloped edges here at the Quilter's Bazaar.
This is the table centre Alex made using fabrics from her stash (yes, I have some of those Robyn Pandolph fabrics too... circa 2000 I think). She has even fussy-cut the centre. Whoops! We've taken the photo upside down!

But wait, there's more!

Alex started to make this table runner in our Quilt-As-You-Go table runner class.

Top Of The Class!!

WOW!! Talk about swift sewing! Here are five quilt-as-you-go table runners ready to bind...All this after a 3 hour class!!

Okay, not everyone was so speedy (Marion had to cut her fabrics in class, but she is more than 3/4 finished!!)Isn't it wonderful to see sew many variations??This bottom one was made using pieces from a Christmas rainbows pack. There are only a few left... be quick! One rainbows pack will make 4 table runners (and you will have some leftover fabric too!).

Would you like to join us later this term? The next class is nearly full, please let us know if you are interested, we may be able to schedule another date giving you time to complete your Christmas projects well in advance.

New tablerunner show and tell

Why do these ladies look so pleased? I think you can see why!!

Look at their almost-finished QAYG (quilt-as-you-go) table runners!!

It always amazes me to see so how the different fabric choices go together.

Please bring your tablerunner in to show us when it is finished... won't you? (And the other two or three you will probably want to make!!).

We will schedule this class again in term 4.

Celebrating with Dorothy!!

Dorothy finished the baby quilt. Hurrah!!

Dorothy came along to Friday morning UFO sessions to learn quilt-as-you-go.

It didn't take long for Linda to complete this Quilt-As-You-Go table runner after a half day class!!

Lisa already brought her table runner in to show us!! It just needs the binding. Wow! Your fabric choices are gorgeous!

Isn't it great to have a fast finish every now and then? Lisa will be well and truly ready for Christmas!!

Christmas in August begins!!

Well, it has officially started! Christmas In August at Quilter's Bazaar has lots of us preparing for Christmas with plenty of time to finish our projects!Annie popular Quilt As You Go (QAYG) tablerunner participants obtained some stunning results. I think they will all be finished by this evening (as long as the participants can sit down at their sewing machine.

With all the organising done, and the pieces marked and centred, the other side of the runner is going to grow very, very quickly!!
