Lizzie Mae's Medallion

Lorraine has completed the sample quilt for the Lizzie Mae's Medallion BOM (block of the month).

And, if you can't wait to start (and finish) this quilt, you can purchase it all as a kit in the fabrics shown.

1800s reproduction fabrics suit this quilt perfectly. Note the intensity of the colour increasing from the centre to the outside of the quilt.

Collect your Kaffe fabric as you make your quilt!! (It won't hurt to have any spares if you already have a collection!).

It's Rosalie Quinlan's "Advent Angel"!!This is a photo of Rosalie's completed quilt. We are using slightly warmer colours - we will reveal very soon!

Annie has started making a shop sample. These 2 stitcheries make up month one.

Numbered pockets will be appliqued to the angel dresses.

I just love Annie's work. I'm sure we will all follow Annie's progress keenly.

Just calculating prices, I will update this post when I have finished calculating.

Lorraine's quilt

Lorraine tried needle-turn applique for the first time to make this quilt.

We offer this quilt - The Joy Of Life as a block of the month. If you undertake this quilt in store, we offer a free class each month.

This assists some people to remain motivated in order to keep up with this month's homework!!

Lorraine was so motivated that she finished way ahead of schedule! She finished all 9 blocks in only 5 months!

Lorraine is having it machine quilted by Deep Creek Quilting. We can't wait to see your quilt labelled, quilted and bound!!

New DOLLHOUSE block of the month!

We are pleased to present Rosalie Quinlan's new block of the month "It's A Dollie's Life"!!!

The dolls will look so much better when I have embroidered their little faces on.

I am going to I machine blanket-stitch to hold the fused pieces onto the backgrounds.
