What a transformation! This is the view inside the front door.
The front of the shop is carpeted, then begins a floating wooden floor - this is the classroom area. We thought this was best as threads and pins can be difficult to remove from carpet.
There is a storeroom on the left at the back. There is a doorway to the right leading to the kitchen and bathroom.
I loooove the paint colour. It is warm and bright. It will go with everything.
This photo was taken with the lights off. These are modern flourescent lights that assist with colour matching and selection. The fittings help to spread the light around.

Yes, it's true! After a year and a half running our online quilting supplies business, Quilter's Bazaar, we are going into an ACTUAL shop. We will continue to maintain our website service, which is one of the best quilt shop sites based in Australia.
Here is a snap I took about a month ago. Doesn't seem too tempting yet does it?
The best thing about brand new premises is we have chosen the best possible flooring, the lights, the paint colour, number and position of power points....
We have ordered in a lot of additional stock that we didn't keep before - we just didn't have room in our house and storeroom!!
Are you curious to see what is in this package? (Notice it is in my kitchen - that's the dishwasher next to it!! I told you there wasn't much room left!!)
Aren't these beautiful? Threadworx overdyed stranded embroidery floss.
I will take a new photo of the shop premises today.
