Jean was inspired by the newest Gloria Loughman book - Quilted Symphony - to make this piece. Jean seemed to make it in record time - now that is enthusiasm. I think we are all the same when we get excited about a project.
Jean said that batiks are perfect for this raw-edge free motion applique as they hardly fray at all.
We have around 20 different batiks in store - we try to keep that many all the time. Do you feel inspired?
