Stained Glass show and tell

Wow!! What a difference fabric placement can make. Have a look at these partially completed quilt tops made in the "stained glass" or "leadlight" style. Class participants chose fabrics to appear textured in a similar way to glass used in leadlight windows.

Some participants used the same fabric, but chose to use different areas of colour for particular shapes.

It was exciting for me to see the quilt tops grow.

I look forward to seeing each quilt top come back in for show and tell!!

Not all of the leading has been ironed in place yet, it is better to sew some of the underneath pieces before ironing more on top.

Thank you for joining us for a thoroughly enjoyable day with Carol.

Stay tuned for our new class schedule appearing on the right hand side bar soon.

I LOVE stained glass projects. I'm in the middle of one and would really LOVE to finish it ASAP....but you know how it is...always something more pressing comes along!
