Margaret's fairies

Margaret recently made a pirate quilt and a motorbike quilt for 2 of her grandchildren.

Now, she is up to making a fairy quilt for a little girl.

Margaret is starting with a panel designed to be embellished and embroidered. The silver thread will be added to the wings, the beads will be sewn to the flower centres and the fairy's necklace. A clear crystalline paint will be added (with a toothpick) to give shine and sparkle.

The green fabric will be used to set the fairy on point, and the rest of the quilt will be pink, purple and maybe some more light green.

I can't wait to show you some of Margaret's progress, and maybe the pirate and motorbike quilts too!!! Cross your fingers!!
